RENAISSANCE is an Arts Festival and annual fundraiser for Jiotto Studio Art School of Collingwood and Wongie Choir of Mooroopna.
The festival is a place where multiple art forms meet together within an out-of-doors, camping and festive environment.
The artists invited to the festival represent the following areas:
- MUSIC and SOUND /music - from classical repertoire to contemporary festive, world music productions - live and electro/,
- LIGHT /films: documentary, shorts, arthouse and vj productions/,
- VISUAL ARTS /plein air painting, sculpture and installation, workshops: painting and sculpture related activities for children and adults'/,
- WORD and MOVEMENT /theatre and poetry, dance, pantomime - workshps and productions/
- NEW FORMS/ NEW MEDIA /traditional, experimental and computer based and/or generated: music and visual forms/ of expression.
It is a forum for INDIVIDUAL ARTISTS and GROUPS. Different LIFESTYLE groups to demonstrate the best of their kind.
It's a FAMILY and CHILDREN FRIENDLY place.
